I’ve been testing this one for a little while now and last night it really came in handy!

If you’ve seen any news reports regarding Southeast Texas in the past few days, you’ll know we’ve been slammed with some pretty intense storms. Rain, high winds, flooding, tornadoes, lightning… the power at our house has gone out 5 or more times in the weekend alone… I quit counting after the fifth time.

Luckily, we had an emergency radio that 1.) was solar powered, it was so easy to charge it while not in use… just set it in a window that got a lot of sun. 2.) Had NOAA weather band channels and kept us up to date on the exact weather conditions heading our way, even when our power was out. 3.) Has a full LED flashlight function and a lantern function – handy when the lights go out at night. 4.) Was able to charge our cell phones or any other device that needed a boost. I’m sure I’m forgetting something, but you can check it out here

This is definitely something that all households need! It would also be a great addition to any storm shelter or bunker since it doesn’t need an outlet to run. It can also be charged via the hand crank and can charge other devices this way as well!

Go check it out!
