First let me just say, OMG, this stuff is awesome!

I have one of those skin types that are insanely hard to find soap and cleansers for. Bar soaps usually dry my skin out REALLY bad. Yes, even stuff like Dove and Aveeno. Body wash breaks me out… cleansers (like Neutrogena and Clearasil) break me out REALLY bad.

I was SO impressed the first time I used VVS Soap. I was scared, but I used it on my face as well… the next morning, my skin was still clear and extremely soft and not dry or oily… I thought, okay, well let’s try this again. Same results!

I’m beyond thrilled, but even if you don’t have sensitive skin, this soap is the bomb!

It’s 100% Vegan and cruelty free! Using natural oils and cold press process to get those oils!

I’m used to “natural” soaps so I wasn’t surprised that this didn’t lather much, but bubbles don’t equal clean. My skin is SO soft now.

Also an upside, the bar is fragrance-free, which makes it great for any of us who are sensitive to perfumes or scents, or who just want to be clean without smelling like a perfume shop.

Now I know what you might be thinking, what does this soap have to do with survival? Well I, for one would still like to be clean and hygienic if the SHTF.  If and when something like that does happen, we will be using a heck of a lot more of soaps similar to these as they are made by real people and not in a factory somewhere.

Secondly, we wont be able to find things like baby soap and gels that are great for the young ‘uns so this type of soap would benefit the whole family and comes in a nice little wax paper package that is great for storing and stocking up. Keeping it in a cool, dry place like a storm shelter or bunker is ideal for the shelf life and since it’s all vegan and all natural, it should keep for decades.

With it being unscented, you don’t have to worry about the fragrance smelling “off” fifteen to twenty years down the road.

Trust me when I say, if you intend to stock up on cleansers, head over to Vermont Vegan Supply and check out what they have to offer!

Did I also mention that it’s super great for any new tattoos out there? It’s an extremely gentle soap and is perfect for cleaning those new pieces of art that are so sensitive during the first few days.

If you have questions that my post doesn’t cover, jog on over to Facebook and ask whatever’s on your mind!
